9/19/15 WVAWS MEETING

·                     Scott called the meeting to order.

·                     Thank you Ivan and Martha for hosting the meeting at Redgate Vineyard. We also appreciated Redgate’s hospitality (Steve-owner) in having us there for our meeting. Steve, the winemaker, took us on a tour of the new crush pad and the barrel room.

·                     We didn’t have an updated Treasury report. Scott will follow-up with Terry.

·                     Our next meeting is on 12/19/15. Bob & Judy will have it at their home if we can’t find another location.

·                     In December, we will be voting new officers for the new year.

·                     The amateur wine competition was done for the Oregon State Fair. We didn’t have anyone from our club that entered wine in the competition.

·                     Ivan and Gary shared information on their grapes.

·                     Winemaking Conference is in May in Portland.  Early Bird registration ends this week. Contact Ralph if you have more questions.

I got the treasury report from Terry and the balance is $781.02.  I will try to get together with Steve Anderson and see about having our December meeting at Eola Hills.

If we can't meet there we will have a pot luck at Bob and Judy's and have our white elephant exchange.
