Daniel Shepherd, Assistant Winemaker at Willamette Valley Vineyards, spoke to our group.  (Shari sent Daniel a thank you card after the meeting.)

Chemeketa Community College Scholarship: It has not been awarded. Kim spoke to a representative from the college, who will get back to her when she has more information about what happened, and what we can do moving forward.

Ivan has reached out to Redgate Winery in Indepedence. We will have our next meeting there on 6/21/14. The meeting is scheduled to begin after 4:00 p.m. More details will be sent prior to the meeting.

Gary has the liability insurance information if anyone would like to review it. Nothing has changed. The cost for the insurance is approximately $420 for a year.

Gary designed and printed 75 posters for the wine competition, which were passed out for distribution. Kim will send information about the competition to the Wine Press and other news outlets. The deadline for receiving wine is 7/19/14. He hasn't finalized the date for the competition with Steve but the plan is to have the competition in August.
